VALLEY SWIRL, La Brea

This group of 6th graders were commissioned by Valley Swirl, La Brea, to decorate an empty pink wall!. Using artist Wayne Thibaude as inspiration, they worked for several weeks on imitating his style to create 18 matching textured canvases.

The project was a wonderful success and each girl enjoyed seeing her work displayed  AND earned an ice-cream from the owner!
