BROADCASTING TO A HUNDRED FAMILIES ACROSS THE WEST COAST!
In what was historically an authentic and representative COVID experience, we were charged to create a Purim project that could be sent out to a hundred families that would join us live on Zoom. The project had to be able to reach from the smallest child to adults to entertain and provide a creative challenge.
Broadcasting in an empty studio with just a skeleton crew, we did it!! An amazing and memorable event for everyone involved!

STEP 3: JUMBO GRAGGER RAINSTICK
1. COLOR JUMBO WRAP.
Set aside your coloring wrap, and COLOR! Use any coloring materials [paint, coloring pencils, markers, crayons or combinations of all], as well as any craft decorating materials if you have.
ii. NAIL.
Hammer LOTS of nails into the tube. Start in the middle and insert nails 1/2″ apart all the way up and down. The more nails, the longer the rattle! Watch your fingers!
iii. RATTLES
Use a cup of dried beans [part of your kit], large plastic beads or an assortment of odds & ends to change the rattling sound of your gragger
iv. SECURE LID.
Insert plastic lids at tube ends. Secure with tape if desired.
v. COVER & DECORATE.
Use white glue to paste completed coloring sheet around tube. Feel free to decorate with glitter, tape, ribbons etc to add to your festive gragger.
So much hard work & fun goes into planning projects and workshops. Trips to downtown LA to source materials and hours in the art studio refining the project!
